The Good Day Blimp Project / Social Fundraiser

"THE SMARTEST GUYS ON THE INTERNET." - Ice Cube

"YAY YAAAY." - Me

At the end of this 15-day side project, it made its way onto Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, turned Goodyear into a hero, and raised over $25,000 for the South Central youth charity A Place Called Home. In short, four guys with zero connection to Goodyear or Ice Cube managed to crowdfund over $25,000 to persuade Goodyear to fly a famous lyric from Ice Cube's "It Was a Good Day" over Los Angeles.

With the help of the Internet, Goodyear, and Ice Cube, we made it a 'good day' for some amazing kids.

Teaming up with Brooklyn artist Michael Marsicano, we created a special "hidden lyrics" poster. We handed out these posters to donors who contributed over $25. Those who donated generously received "OG Editions" signed by none other than Ice Cube himself.
